Start with access, not ranking

Healthcare access research should begin with practical fit: city, language support, department availability, payment method, appointment route, and whether the hospital can respond to international patient questions.

China Health Access avoids ranking hospitals or recommending treatment. The goal is to help visitors prepare better questions before contacting a hospital directly.

Questions to ask before contacting a hospital

Ask whether the hospital has an international department, whether English or other language support is available, what documents are required for an appointment, and which payment methods are accepted.

For non-emergency travel, ask how far in advance an appointment can be requested and whether a written cost estimate or process outline is available.

What China Health Access can do

The platform can provide general access information, city overviews, and hospital profile details where sources are available.

It cannot provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, emergency support, clinical triage, or medical record review.
